Adding Pets

We would love to add your ‘well-behaved’ furry family member to your session. Due to time constraints, they can only be added to regular mini sessions. Pups who get overwhelmed easily or cannot sit/stay on demand, you may want to consider a full 90 minute session instead so we have plenty of time for pup shenanigans.

Editing & Retouching

What is Basic Editing?
Each image goes through a curation process where the best of the best are selected based on expression and personality. Then put through adjustments for color, contrast and shadow toning to match the classic natural style of our photography. With over 20 years of experience we have built a system to make sure all of your digital images look sharp, colorful and true to life. The number of delivered images will vary based on the cooperation of all kids, dogs and adults. Any image that is unique, in focus and up to our standard will be included in the delivery.

What is Signature Retouching?
Our signature retouching process involves going to the pixel level in Adobe Photoshop to airbrush skin, remove blemishes, smoothing flyaway hair, brightening teeth, removing any distracting background objects, and matching backdrop colors for consistency. Significant time is spent on each selected image to create magazine quality retouching.

We’ve partnered with some amazing local businesses to host limited-time portrait sessions for families, pets, or both. Each event is a little different — with fresh locations, dates, and pricing — so keep checking back to see where we’ll be next!

These sessions are a fun, easy way to capture beautiful moments with your loved ones (furry and otherwise). Spots fill up fast, so don’t miss out!

Cat Café Portraits

In Lowell, MA

Brandi Jong has been an active animal rescue volunteer for over 20 years. After years of dedication, she was finally able to fulfill her dream of opening a cat cafe in downtown Lowell, MA.

Lazy Cat Lounge works closely with several rescue groups and will soon welcome a rotating group of adoptable cats. In the meantime, you can book a reservation to hang out with the four resident cats: Yin, Yang, Gilda, and Sugarplum.

I quickly became friends with these four, who love hamming it up for the camera.

STAY TUNED: Brandi and I are collaborating on a seasonal pop-up for pet portraits in the cafe, launching in July! Proceeds will benefit the Lowell Humane Society!!
